Bioinformatics & protein modelling

Greetings every1,
Today's dashboard topic is protein modeling with regard of drug designing.. we r performing it through computers with biological molecules, So we r calling it Computational aided drug designing (CADD). Computational means process which is performed by computers and aided means through the help of something i.e drug (proteins) designing through the help of computers .
   As i write above drug designing which is more or less related to protein i.e. modeling of protein can be done.
Several numbers of online tools and videos are available for learning the CADD
The one more imp term is Docking of protein i.e. binding of specific molecule to specific site and make a dock molecule joint or u can combo molecule of ligand and receptor where ligand may be outer protein molecule those sites r matched with the receptors molecule conformation so they bind and form dock structure molecule..

Bioinformatics with Linux OS

Hi frnzzz
Bioinformatics is the area where we r most commonly using Linux Operating System which is derived from the C language, instead of windows which is often occurring in computers.
Linux is virus free operating system and multi user as well.
there are several versions of Linux which are freely available like ,
Red Hat, Fedora and Ubuntu.
its a command based OS and easily approachable
The most important research is going through it like NGS, Netxt Generation Sequencing the whole genome sequencing etc.....
if we go through it can access easily.
plzzz share ur views and knowledge about Linux OS.

li'l bioinformatics introduction

Hello Frnzz,
Bioinformatics is exactly the term defines in it self that its a combo of Biology and Information technology.
where we are dealing with genes and technology which are going to be easy to play with genes and genomes as well as their products.
       The interesting thing of this part is that most of the biology people comes in this field and they suffer lack knowledge of languages and updated  technology which are gonna useful in software designing and running them. So i m trying to explore the more bioinformatics with this blogging system, kindly share your hand and stay with me on this blog .
